What is the Procession of Healing? It began as a small gesture to remember the unborn and it turned into a citywide prayer for healing and change.

On May 10, 2008 there was a funeral procession through Knoxville, TN. This was no ordinary funeral procession. Over 300 cars bearing black flags with white crosses followed a hearse through downtown to remember the 3100 babies lost in Knox County due to abortion in 2007. It also was a funeral procession for any mother, father and relative who lost a child through abortion. It was a chance for Knoxville to see the church's arms open wide and not our finger pointing. God offers mercy and forgiveness. This is the message of The Procession of Healing.

Every city can have a Procession of Healing. It is a great way to open the door to repentance, forgiveness and healing. Whether you have more or less than 300 cars you can see healing and change happen in your city!!!

The Knoxville Procession of Healing will begin at 10:00 AM with a service at Trinity Chapel to bring closure and healing to women and families who have experienced the trauma of abortion. Trinity Chapel is located at 5830 Haynes Sterchi Road, Knoxville, TN 37921. After the service, the Procession of Healing will travel to Lynnhurst Cemetery.
